YCDC Denounces Attacks on Civil Rights

The Yates County Democratic Committee denounces the political add paid for by the DCCC in South Carolina. The Yates County Democratic Committee would like to affirm that every American deserves dignity, respect, and equal protection under the law. We are troubled by any actions that weaken civil rights protections or attack individuals for protected characteristics. We are proud to stand against injustice in New York State and across the country.

By helping to get Democrats elected to public office, we are protecting the rights of everyone--no exceptions.

To those who would discriminate in the name of ‘freedom,’ we repeat the words of Emma Lazarus: “Until we are all free, we are none of us free.”
